When can you shop the Pre-Sale?

Pre-sale takes place on the Wednesday, February 28th before we open to the public!

The shopping schedule is:

3pm Pre-Sale:  10 Hour Volunteers

4pm Pre-Sale:  Set-Up, Saturday Sorters & Pre-Sale Volunteers

5pm Pre-Sale:  5 Hour Volunteers

6pm Pre-Sale:  Consignors

7pm Pre-Sale:  First-Time Moms/Grandmoms

VOLUNTEER SHIFTS – VIEW ONLY!

REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER!

5 HOUR VOLUNTEERS – 70% Commission

• Volunteer a total of 5 hours during the sale
• Receive a ticket to shop the 5pm Pre-Sale on Wednesday, February 28th.

10 HOUR VOLUNTEERS – 75% Commission

•  Volunteer a total of 10 hours during the sale (can break it into multiple shifts – email if need special shift times).
•  Shop first! at the 3pm Pre-Sale on Wednesday, February 28th.

SATURDAY SORTERS – 70% Commission + 4pm Pre-Sale Pass

• Volunteer Saturday afternoon, March 2nd from 12:00 noon until the sorting is complete and ready for consignor pick-up.  
• You MUST stay for the entire shift.  If sorting is completed early, your shift will end early.  If sorting runs late, your shift will end late.
• This shift is a physically demanding shift and not recommended for those with limitations (back problems, expectant moms, etc.).  Please make sure you are able to complete the entire shift before registering.
• If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer obligations, you are required to find a suitable replacement (friend, mother, sister, husband, etc.).
• Kids Market will provide pizza and drinks for volunteers during this shift.
• NO children are allowed at this shift
• Receive a ticket to shop the 4pm Pre-Sale on Wednesday, February 28th.

SET-UP VOLUNTEERS – 70% Commission

• Volunteer 5 hours any time during set-up – Monday, February 26th.
• BONUS! Receive a ticket to shop the 4pm Pre-Sale.

PRE-SALE VOLUNTEERS – 70% Commission

• Volunteer from 5:00pm-10:00pm on Pre-Sale night – Wednesday, February 28th.
• BONUS! Receive a ticket to shop the 4pm Pre-Sale.
• Receive a late checkout for items being purchased in order to maximize shop time before your shift begins.

HUSBAND VOLUNTEERS – 5 hrs/70%, 10 hrs/75%

• We need a few hard-working, strong, husbands to help during the sale!
• Great deal!  Your husband works and you get the benefit of shopping early.  Or…the two of you can split your volunteer time to achieve your hours.
• There are only a few shifts available.  They fill up quickly!
• Shifts available for husbands on Monday, February 26th and Saturday, March 2nd for set up and break down.

VOLUNTEER MEALS – 70%

• Provide a WELL-ROUNDED HOMEMADE meal (no fast food accepted!) to feed 10  people
• REQUIRED: email meal options to eskidsmarket@gmail.com within 24 hrs of signing up!
• Receive 5-hour volunteer credits
• Provide condiments necessary to accommodate the meal
• Only 1 meal per person allowed!
• ESKM will provide plates, utensils and napkins.
• Example meals: BBQ, Side, Dessert; Baked Casserole, Roll, Dessert; Salad, Pasta Dish, Dessert.

OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Publicity/Media overage – If you can help us advertise with radio, internet, or television coverage you will receive a 5-hour volunteer ticket for the 5pm Pre-Sale on Wednesday, February 28th.

CANCELING A VOLUNTEER SHIFT

• Kids Market’s ability to run a successful sale is based primarily on its volunteers.  We rely on our volunteers to be responsible and dependable.
• If you need to change or delete your volunteer time(s), log back into the Volunteer Schedule and “edit” your shift(s).
• If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer obligation, please do your best to find a suitable replacement (friend, mother, sister, husband, etc.).  Deadline for canceling a volunteer shift online is the Sunday prior to the begining of the sale. Earlier if possiable! 
• If you have to cancel for ANY reason beyond that date, please call Cauley immediately @ (251) 461-8110.
