FAQs
How does this work?

Begin by cleaning out your children’s clost/room. Select items for the corresponding seasonal sale. Register for the sale and select a drop-off time (you can find the link at the bottom of the consign tab).  Prepare your clothes by hanging, securing automated tags with saftey pins. Drop off your items and let us do the work. We’ll send you a check.

What can I bring?

ESKM sales are seasonal.  For the Spring/Summer sale, bring swim suits, sun dresses, linen outfits, Easter/Fourth of July, Valentine’s outfits, long sleeves, light sweaters are fine, dance outfits, costumes, light jackets and the “regular” items such as toys, books, furniture, bags, shoes, etc.  We always accept short sleeves and shorts.  No coats, wool,  flannel, or Christmas/Halloween/Thanksgiving clothing for the Spring/Summer sale, save these for the Fall/Winter Sale!

When do I get paid?

If you have a PaylPal account, you will receive payment within 2 days.  We begin to process payments immediately after the sale closes at 1pm.  We usually complete submitting payments by the following Monday.  For people that prefer checks, they will be mailed out within a week and should be received within two weeks of the sale.

What about unsold items?

Unsold items must be picked up by 7pm on Saturday, the last day of the sale.  Any items left behind will be donated to our choosen charity.

Which charity gets the donated items?

ESKM donates all, unclaimed clothing  to Fostering Together Gulf Coast.

How can I earn More?

There are 2 ways consignors can earn more than 65% commission:

Refer a friend and receive 1% (each friend must consign a minimum of 25 items)

Volunteer and receive an addtional 5% commission for each 5 hr shift, up to 100%

Can my husband work for me?

Absolutely!  We need men to assist with the set up of the clothing racks at the begining of the sale and with break-down at the end.  Please put your men to work!

what is the pre-sale?

The pre-sale is a 5 hour period where the sale is opened up to consignors, volunteers, and 1st-time mom’s.  This takes place BEFORE the sale opens up to the public.  Pre-Sale shoppers get to shop before anyone else.  NO STROLLERS or KIDS allowed. Infants can “worn” to the sale.

Can I bring my child?

Children are welcome to shop with you at the sale on Thurs , Fri, and Sat, but are not allowed at the pre-sale.  Please keep track of your child. They MUST be with you at all time or in stoller.  This is not the time to let your child run free and play with all of the toys.  Thank you.

How many items can I consign?

There is a limit of 500 items for each sale.  If you sell at least 50% of your items, we will increase your limit.  There is also a limit on the number of items in certain categories.  This can be found here:  HOW MANY ITEMS CAN I BRING?

What form of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit cards, and cash.  We do not accept checks or American Express.

What if I can’t print tags?

I too suffer from a moody printer that always seems to be running out of ink.  Please consider asking a friend to print your tags or having them printed somewhere such as Office Depot or Staples.  Do not forget to print tags on cardstock!
